There have been a lot of planned updates to the Elvenesse.net web site. You’ll notice that the menu to the left has changed. There is now a new revamped Locations section, and new sections called Elves, Artifacts, Library, and a site Search page. Below is a brief description of the new sections. There are still many more updates to come. Check this blog or the Latest News section on the Home page for updates as they happen.
If the new menus do not display properly, please refresh your browser.
Locations — Information on various elvish locations in Beleriand and Middle-earth.
Elves — Information on various divisions of the elves, as well as profile pages for notable elves.
Artifacts — (Coming Soon) Information on various elvish items from gems to weapons.
Library — Collection of scholarly elvish topics: Follow time as the elves do with the Calendar of Imladris; learn about the languages of the elves (coming soon); read various elvish texts (some with tengwar transcriptions); look up names, places, items, and elvish words in the Lexicon; or browse the Maps of Arda.
Search — Search the site for what ever it is you are looking for.
Site Updates
Hope everyone is having a great holiday. I’ve been taking advantage of having some time off to make some updates to the website.
You’ll notice now that if you click one of the elvish locations, you will now go to a main page that gives you some information about that location. Links to notable elves and dwellings in that location are available at the bottom of each main location page. You’ll also notice, while on one of the main location pages, the addition of a sidebar to the right in which links to maps are given for further exploration.
These pages will continue to evolve as I add more information and seek to streamline the site.

Site Update
I am in the process of moving the Elvenesse site to a new host. While the transition of the website itself should be seamless, I am not so sure about the WordPress part of it. There may be some downtime to the blog, but it will be back up.
Minor Site Update
I updated the code for the navigation bar to the left. If it is not displaying properly for you, you may need to refresh the page a couple of times or delete any cached files for the site from your web browser. Happy Friday everyone!
